Our memberships will include your Athletics Ontario membership. When you register through our trackie site, you will
also be acknowledging provincial codes and waivers in order to be automatically signed up with AO. In other words,
YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO REGISTER SEPARATELY WITH ATHLETICS ONTARIO.

Volunteers are a major importance when it comes to running track and field meets. London Western hosts or co-hosts 8 meets throughout the year. Some of these meets require only a handful of volunteers, while 1 in particular in April requires upwards of 100. Without your support at these meets, they would not be as successful as they are. It is expected that you volunteer at a minimum of 2 meets.
Although track and field continues to be one of the most economical sports to participate in, there still may be a need to help offset the cost of a London Western membership. If you feel you require assistance, there are multiple options. KidSport and Jumpstart are 2 programs that provide financial aid to families for organized sport. More details can be found on our website. Please inform us prior to applying to either of those organizations. Those that qualify for KidSport or Jumpstart will automatically qualify for additional assistance from the club. If you do not qualify for the above programs, you may fill out an application for assistance directly from us. Priority will be given to eligible athletes that fit 1 or more of following criteria…
1. Member of a multi-child family and/or living in a single-parent household.
2. Family/Parent receiving assistance from any other program (documentation required)
Elite athletes have additional expenses beyond the average club athlete. The London Western TFC offers a fund to help offset the costs of travel and accommodation to competitions and/or training camps, including entry fees. This fund is not eligible for National Championship events. To access this fund, athletes complete the application form and attach copies of receipts. They must meet all qualifying criteria. This is submitted to the club Manager who will review the application with other Board member(s). Once approved, the applicant is eligible for up to a maximum of 50% of the amount requested. An athlete may receive funding through this process a maximum of one time during their yearly membership.
1. Be 16 years of age, or older.
2. Ranked top 5 in Canada as U18 or U20 in previous season. Confirmed on AC Rankings.
3. Ranked top 10 in Canada as a senior in previous season. Confirmed on AC Rankings.
4. Be an up-to-date paid member of the club.
5. Must not be carded or receiving Quest for Gold.
6. Be registered as a London Western TFC member for the event being applied for.
7. Wear the London Western TFC singlet during competition.
