LWTFC members competing at the AO U16 Championships on August 20-22, 2021, continued with their collection of hardware. A total of 7 medals were brought home—2 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze—along with some impressive performances and respectable placings.
Julia Tunks dominated the Shot Put (14.05m) and Discus (45.07m) events, coming away with the two Golds. Jackson MacKay was responsible for two Silvers in the Pentathlon (2263 points) and 200m Hurdles (29.89), and Jenna Tunks took Silver in Discus (31.78m). Ella Caponcini won Bronze in High Jump (1.40m) and Jenna Tunks a Bronze in Shot Put (11.99m).
