The LWTFC is excited to announce that we will be hosting a reception on Sun. Sept. 25, 2022, from 1:00 to 4:00pm, at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel on Wellington Road South in London. All former and current members are invited to attend, as well as anyone wishing to help mark this significant milestone.
Light appetizers will be served, and a cash bar will be available. The program includes an overview of the club’s history and the induction of the “50 for 50” Hall of Fame individuals. There will also be a silent auction, featuring a framed and signed singlet/photo of Damian Warner, with other great items being offered as well. Dress code is business casual. We will be inducting 52 incredible athletes/builders/coaches (52 because we’re that old now). Inductees selected have at least one (or more) of the following criteria: Olympian, Canadian Record Holder, National Team Member, Canadian Champion, member of the Western University T&F Hall of Fame. The plan is to continue adding to this Hall of Fame in the future.
