XC Crew Wraps Up Successful Season

London Western’s cross country team had an excellent season at every level with top finishes at local, provincial and national championships. The 2016 cross country season wrapped up with Athletics Canada’s national championships in Kingston on November 26. Kingston experienced a dramatic snowfall the week prior to the race, leaving the looped course muddy and slick throughout. What A Weekend!

Congrats on a great weekend for our London Western team members. We had athletes from our group competing in Canadian University XC Championships, Canadian College XC Championships, as well as the AOXC Championships. Needless to say it was busy, but showed great success. The weekend started on Saturday with the CCAA meet in Sault Ste. Marie with Chris Caddey (Mohawk) nabbing a 17th place finish and Justin Attfield (Fanshawe) copping a 22nd as one of the top rookies on the day. Fanshawe placed 2nd as a team.
