7 More Medals for LWTFC
LWTFC members competing at the AO U16 Championships on August 20-22, 2021, continued with their collection of hardware. A total of 7 medals were brought home—2 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze—along with some impressive performances and respectable placings. Julia Tunks dominated the Shot Put (14.05m) and Discus (45.07m) events, coming away with the two Golds. Jackson MacKay was responsible for two Silvers in the Pentathlon (2263 points) and 200m Hurdles (29.89), and Jenna Tunks

AO U18 Champions - 9 Medals
This past weekend our athletes competed at the AO U18 Outdoor Championships held on Aug 7-8 at the Toronto Track and Field Center and had a heap of great events. Among these performances were 5 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze medal and 10 other top 8 finishes for a combined 116 points to secure the championship banner. Our Women's 4x400 team sealed the deal during the final few events. The girls placed 8th to put London Western ahead of second by two points! The future looks strong

10 Medals, 3rd Overall Team (again), and a Provincial Record!
It was another outstanding weekend of track & field performances by a small but talented group of LWTFC members at the Open/Para T&F and U18/Open Combined Events Championships held at the Toronto T&F Centre on July 31-August 1, 2021. Relying on our throwers, middle distance, and combined events athletes, the LWTFC managed to win a total of 10 medals, finishing third overall with 92 points in the club standings. Stephen Davis took the Gold medal in the U18 Decathlon, recording
