Scheele Runs World Junior Standard
At the Hamilton Season Opener on Sunday night, a few hours after our own Bob Vigars Classic had ended, Marcel Scheele toed the line for the 3000m steeple chase. 9min and 2sec later, Scheele qualified for the 2018 World Junior Championships! But, there's more to the story... Marcel Scheele is currently ranked #1 in Canada in the Junior Men's 3000mSC. Marcel's pb going into the race was 9:22..78 and was ranked 5th in the country last year. His official time on Sunday was 9:0

Sladek Leads Strong Showing at WOSSA
Clarissa Sladek of Medway shows no signs of slowing down. After a great showing at TRVAA, she follows up with triple gold in the 800/1500/3000. It was a great 2 days at TD Stadium and London Western athletes, out representing their schools, continue to impress. Details of our athletes placing can be found below. Here are the numbers... TVRAA and Huron Perth - By The Numbers

LW athletes finished first through to 6th and 10th, for 7 of the Top 10 finishers in the 1500m! High School "Playoffs" Start This Week
Hard to believe, but the high school season is in full swing with TVRAA and Huron Perth Championships starting this week! Last year we saw 85 of our members move on to WOSSA, ultimately leading towards 14 medals and 28 Top 10 finishes at OFSAA. Best of luck to those competing this week.
